How to Beat the High Blood Sugar Syndrome at the Cell Level

High blood sugar or diabetes is a lifestyle disease in more than 90% of cases. The condition of adult diabetes can be beat with simple lifestyle changes.

I have a success story to share about high blood sugar or type 2 diabetes. It is inspiration. It silences those who say you cannot get more than control of the symptoms. Read the articles on this site.

What really causes type II diabetes and how can a diabetic lower their high blood sugar level and keep it normal?

In type 2 diabetes, the body (a) does not make enough insulin, or (b) has trouble using the insulin, or both. See the explanation of the cause at the cellular level.

High blood sugar is a progressive condition. The cells of the body actually starve. Development is gradual, accelerated by lifestyle.

Estimates say that 20% of North Americans will get diabetes at some point in their lives. Many victims don't know they have the disease.

The problem is in delivering the goods

Have type 2 diabetes?

Don't be satisfied with "coping." Simple behavior changes can bring tremendous control (removal) of the symptoms and normalize your high blood sugar. Make returning to a healthy life your aim... now!

Insulin is like your package carrier. It delivers glucose to the cells. The cells need glucose for metabolic functions.

In Type II diabetes, the high blood sugar concentration results because the insulin receptor sites on the cells are clogged with fat or the cells are resistant to insulin.

It's like not opening the door to the office so the delivery guy or gal can deliver the goods. The business starves because the supplies cannot get delivered.

How do you solve the high blood sugar condition?

There are two things you can do at the cellular level. In fact, both of these should be done.

1 - Open insulin receptor sites on cells

We can open the 'doors' so glucose can delivered to the cells. That means getting rid of the fat cells that clog the insulin receptor sites.

Do you know how to lower blood sugar by unclogging the insulin receptor sites? The answer is, to remove fatty foods from the diet. The anti-diabetes diet does just that, and more.

2 - Create additional receptor sites on cells

That's like making more doors to the office building so the courier service can deliver the goods. But how is this done?

Consult your doctor before going on an exercise program

The answer is, by regular exercise.

Scientific studies suggest that in about 7 hours after a vigorous exercise, such as walking for an hour in the morning, the cells of your body would have created more insulin receptor sites.

Wow! This is amazing.

So here we have the secret to beating the high blood sugar problem at the cell level where it actually occurs.

Get rid of the dietary and body fat. This may require following a good weight loss program, with regular exercise, and having a really healthy diet.

We have all heard that before. So why are we not stemming the tide of the diabetes epidemic?

Obviously, having the knowledge without changing the lifestyle doesn't do any good. I know what I'm talking about, because I have been there.

The American Diabetes Association has a lot to say about high blood sugar diabetes but emphasizes the need to control symptoms, not to reverse the condition.

What is diabetes like?

Actually, diabetes is starvation, except that it occurs at the cell level. Individual cells are deprived of glucose and they eventually die.
