These Diabetes Supplements Are Some of Nature's Special Foods With the Edge
There needs to be a certain caution when I mention diabetes supplements, because this may mean different things to different people. This is in reference to certain special food supplements.
We are what we eat and if we give our bodies what it needs for growth, healing and repair it will do marvelously. We are made that way.
This section of the site makes special mention of a few diabetes supplements, and from my experience, I could call them "super foods" that every diabetic (especially) needs.
So, here is my list; in no particular order (since I could not measure which helps the most).
The stuff from the sea
Call it what you will. This Fucoidan-rich seaweed extract, marketed as Original Limu, is one that has earned the title of "diabetes supplement" based on the many accounts of type 2 diabetics who have weaned themselves from all kinds of medications while using this product.
This is one that I gladly recommend, mainly because of the long list of health conditions that users have reported their relief resulting from it.
Obviously, with over 700 independent scientific studies touting the virtues of this nutrient, you can understand why this one is always in my house. There is more information on this diabetes supplement is on another page.
The American Diabetes Association says...
"There is no cure for diabetes. But there are things you can do to treat it yourself."
The normalization of my A1c (to 5.3%) is proof that taking this advice brings good results.
"Miracle of the forest"
This was the first natural remedy for diabetes that I have used. Although I can't recall how I first hear of Milagro de la Selva, I do recall the impression it left on me after a few days. I have documented my experience with food supplement on another page.
Gymnema Sylvestre
This diabetes supplement is also well documented. Although I don't like swallowing pills, I have used a special brand of this natural product with good results.
However, I have not found the need (even) for Gymnema Sylvestre again because my blood glucose is well controlled. There is more information on this Ayurvedic favorite on another page.
Foods Rich in Antioxidants
The list of related topics on this page has links to more detailed information on diabetes supplements and food choices that this author has used. It should also include foods high in antioxidants. I have briefly mentioned my favorite diabetes supplements. You are welcome to use any information on this site - to your health!
My favorite of all diabetes supplements is Milagro de la Selva tea. Safe, natural, pleasant it helps lower high cholesterol as well. I recommend it.
See results of supplement blend from a double blind diabetes research study
Even though some herbal products have been used successfully for generations, it is necessary to see how they compare to pharmaceutically derived diabetes medications. In fact, today's patients are not blindly willing to try just any health food because someone else touts its virtues. We live in an age where science is often the great arbiter of what we believe.

Diabetes supplement - Clinically studied and verified to safely lower blood sugar
In a recent double blind clinical study involving a proprietary blend of natural diabetes food supplements and its effects of on type 2 diabetic patients, the results were encouraging. A crop out from the full report is shown in the image, but the full report on the Diametrix™ diabetes study is available on another site.
Those who have successfully remedied type 2 diabetes using diet (including dietary supplements) and exercise are often left wondering why more is not done to encourage more suffers to try the safer non-drug method of treatment. This author believes it may be partly due to the lower commercial viability of naturally occurring foods and supplements compared to pharmaceutically "grown" medicines. The articles on this site give the encouraging personal experience of the author in controlling type 2 diabetes without medication.

What is diabetes like?
Actually, diabetes is starvation, except that it occurs at the cell level. Individual cells are deprived of glucose and they eventually die.
