The Anti-diabetes Diet Idea Could be Our Forgotten Secret to Healthy Living

You may never hear of the anti-diabetes diet on TV, or from your doctor. Why? Because it is the long forgotten secret method of not becoming victim to the modern diseases that have crept upon us since we invented fast food. The makers of the popular diets will capitalize on this health information in order to profit from your ignorance.

Today, the health and food inductries look upon conditions like type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular diseases as if these have just sprung upon us without cause or reason, and then design hundreds of drugs and diets to try to pacify the symptoms until we die. Someone - maybe you too - is forgetting how uncommon type 2 diabetes was just a few decades ago, and how even now people in California (United States), Sardinia (Italy), and Okinawa (Japan) who eat a certain way are living healthier and longer without medicines or designer diets.

The anti-diabetes diet is more than just what you eat. It is a way of living, and it certainly makes you healthier.

So what exactly is this anti-diabetes diet? Why haven't you heard of it before? Where did it come from? How does it work?

About Anti-diabetes Diet...

Actually, I have come to believe that the anti-diabetes diet is the way we humans were created to eat.

What is the anti-diabetes diet?

It is a high fiber carbohydrate, very low fat diet consisting mainly of grains, fruits, and vegetables. It's a simple diet. There are no fancy names, no patented packaging, it's just regular food.

But how, is "regular food" anti-diabetic? I'll tell you more...

The anti-diabetic diet not only keeps diabetes away, it is anti-hypertensive, anti-obesity, and anti-cholesterol... Actually, it is a zero-cholesterol diet!

"But aahhhh!" I can just hear you now.

You thought it was something with an "Atkins" clout. Just wait. What you've seen so far about this diet is just half the story.

More than tasty recipes

The anti-diabetes diet is more than fancy recipes. It is a way of life. Imagine a diet you could live on for the rest of your life **AND** not get tired of it. In other words, it is the way humans were made to eat. Where did I get this idea from? Come with me back to the beginning...

"As old as the creation"

Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." - Genesis 1:29 (NIV)

Those who believe that humans were purposely created and not accidentally evolved will easily see what is our original diet. Even a cursory study will show that it was plant-based. Simple nuts, grains, and fruits. Well, since no animal ever died in the perfect world that God created, all cattle, goats, and chickens lived happily... until.

After Noah's flood it seems that survival demanded the consumption of meat.
But this was not part of the original plan.

...and modern science says, "Amen!"

In a recent study (Chan JM, et. al.) it was found that food from plant and fish sources were good for prevention of cancers. And by comparison, some poor choices include milk, dairy, and saturated fats.

Anti-diabetes diet: Some benefits and barriers

A study done in Australia and published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, February, 2006 revealed that ignorance is the biggest barrier making people unwilling to graduate to a plant-based diet.

Groups such as the National Cattlemen's Beef Association may even say you need have meat in your diet to be healthy.

Albert Einstein may have had great insight beyond the realm of physics, for he said: "The best thing that could happen to humanity is the graduation to a vegetarian diet."

The anti-diabetes diet doesn't need a physicist or a rocket scientist to prove it's effectiveness. I am evidence.

The anti-diabetes diet is actually a diabetic vegetarian diet, and more. It is the antidote to high cholesterol, hypertension, weight control and general good health.

But what else could one expect of a diet made in heaven?

What is diabetes like?

Actually, diabetes is starvation, except that it occurs at the cell level. Individual cells are deprived of glucose and they eventually die.
